Think of the ways
Mother Nature shows us kindness.
She provides sustenance
and offers shade.
She heals with warmth
and feeds our spirit with beauty.
Her majesty inspires
and teaches us respect.
Her infinite fragrance calms fear,
provokes memories and warns of danger.
She shows us the way
through birth, death and rebirth.
Her kindness is immeasurable
and must be appreciated to continue.
Please join me in showing appreciation
for Mother Nature's kindness.
What one kind act can you show Her today?

I try to keep my carbon footprint tiny, because I want to show Mama Nature daily love :)
ReplyDeleteMuch to my neighbor's dismay, I can leave my dandelions along today.
ReplyDeleteThey are a pretty yellow! :-)
What a lovely poem and thought. Yes, we are all completely dependent on the Mother. I used my own bags at the market today.
ReplyDeleteLove your poem and also the message it carries ... I'm extra careful to sort out all the recycle materials for collection tomorrow. :)
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I made sure to recycle and used public transportation instead of driving my car for most of my commute.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your comments and for doing what you can to show appreciation to Mother Nature. :)
